As part of Dairy Australia’s Picasso Cows Program, Junior School students have been learning all about the Australian dairy industry, and were provided with the opportunity to decorate a life-size fibre glass cow named Cogneeta!

Classroom nutrition education was linked to the program and included learning the benefits of consuming dairy foods such as milk, cheese and yogurt for good health and wellbeing.

Year 5 students documented their experience of the planning, learning and painting of Cogneeta from start to finish in learning journals.

Cogneeta will be on display at the annual Lowther Hall Art and Design Exhibition October 9-11.
