The Lowther Hall Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is very excited to be planning the inaugural Twilight Festival to be held at School on Friday 14 November. The festival is our major fund raising event for 2014 but more importantly it will be a wonderful whole school event, celebrating the community of Lowther Hall.

The School has identified a number of items for the PFA to raise funds for in 2014. The committee has selected 3 of these as our goal for the Festival. All money raised by the Festival will directly support the purchase of the following items:

  • Radio Microphones for use by Junior and Senior School girls at assemblies and other events
  • A lighting bar for the Cultural Centre
  • Refurbishment of the Mansion’s old print room as a reflection space for the School Chaplain and students

During the past few months the Year Level Representatives and PFA committee have been busy collecting ideas for the

Festival to ensure a great time will be had by all. Carnival rides, stalls, live entertainment and great food are just part of the

excitement to be had at our Festival. To end the Festival in grand style there will be a fireworks display from the rooftop of the Mansion!

How can you help?

There are many opportunities for everyone to contribute to the success of the Twilight Festival. To begin we are seeking sponsorship and donations. As we get closer to the date and on the night we will need many volunteers to assist with the running of the event.

In the lead up to Festival, the PFA will be running a major raffle to be drawn on the evening. We have a spectacular 1st prize and are looking for donations of additional prizes. In the coming weeks we will be calling for specific donations of books and toys so continue to please check the Bulletin for details.

This event will celebrate and support our wonderful School community, and it needs your help to ensure success. In the spirit of our School motto, please do what you can to make this an event to remember.

Please contact Ann Cole (PFA committee member) at amcole@bigpond.com to discuss how you can support the Twilight Festival.
