It has been wonderful to welcome the girls back to Term 2 this week. As usual they have impressed me with their enthusiasm for all that school life has to offer. One big difference for our start to the term was that we could not gather for our traditional whole school assembly due to the renovations that have commenced in the Cultural Centre. A temporary wall has been erected so that the balcony works can be undertaken safely while other events continue in the auditorium space. We look forward to the completion of this important “Stage 1” of the Cultural Centre refurbishment by the start of Term 4 which will see an expanded balcony seating area and the beginning of some improvements to the heating and cooling of the space.

The girls participated respectfully in the ANZAC Services that were held across the school on Wednesday and are now back in the full swing of classes. I look forward to sharing another busy term with them!
