As usual there has been a great deal happening this week. On the property front, renovations are well underway at the back of the Mansion to create a new reflection space and an office for our Chaplain – a project supported by the fundraising which happened at our 2014 Twilight Festival. Planning has already commenced for the 2016 Festival and I am delighted that PFA Vice President, Catriona Minney, has volunteered to coordinate this important community event. I know that the Festival will be a great success under her leadership.

Girls and staff returned from Music Camp full of enthusiasm for the forthcoming Annual Music Concert, which is selling fast! Make sure you secure your tickets for Thursday 9 September before they run out! It has also been wonderful to celebrate with the Hip Hop Team who returned with a Bronze Medal from Nationals (see article below) and with the Concert Band who brought home Silver from their recent competition. As well as these special events, however, I want to celebrate this week the ongoing support of our staff for the girls, the kind acts of girls towards their peers, the willingness of our parent body to support the School and the wonderful ways in which our older students care for our younger girls. It is these things, applied day after day, that help to create the nurturing community that we enjoy and assist the girls to develop into such impressive young women.

Thank you all!
