Careers

The Careers Program at Lowther Hall is a lynchpin in our quest to educate girls for "the whole of life". A broad careers education program commences in Year 9 and is followed up in Years 10, 11 and 12 with an individualised program for each girl.

The Careers Coordinator meets individually with students and is involved in the selection of subjects for every girl in the senior years. Girls receive mentoring and support in the selection of tertiary courses and are provided with relevant information about scholarship and support opportunities following graduation from Year 12. Close connections with students means that careers advice often continues for girls even after they have left Lowther Hall!
