You are invited to the annual Lowther Hall Art and Design Exhibition from Friday 13 October to Monday 16 October. Students from Kindergarten to Year 12 will showcase their artistic and creative talents at the 4 day exhibition, to be held in the Joan M. Garde Cultural Centre at the School.

What an exciting Term 3 it has been at Lowther Hall! As the Term draws to a close today, we farewell our students heading off on the France and Japan Study Tours, and wish our Year 9 girls all the best as they hike in the Grampians for their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. We hope all our students enjoy a restful break, see you in Term 4!

Well done to Year 12 student, Georgina, who has won a prestigious ‘Swannie’ Award from the Debating Association of Victoria! Georgina achieved the highest average A-Grade speaker score in the region in 2017. Good work, Georgina!

Congratulations to our 'Tournament of Minds' teams who each won 1st place in their divisions at the Regional Finals on the weekend! They will now compete in the Branch (State) Finals at La Trobe University in September. Well done to all teams for competing!

​On Friday our Prep girls celebrated 100 days of being at school! They wrote and presented their own short speeches about things they have learned throughout the year, and performed songs, at a special assembly for their parents and peers. Well done, prep girls!

It’s Cultural Diversity Week at Lowther Hall this week, and our Senior School Student Representative Council have been organising activities to celebrate! Today we were excited to have Old Grammarian Marshie Perera Rajakumar (class of 1993) teach our Senior School students some Bollywood dancing. Thank you, Marshie!

​Congratulations to all students who performed at the Winter Strings Festival on Tuesday evening. Over 120 girls from Kindergarten to VCE participated in the event, treating their audience to an array of diverse musical pieces.

​Our congratulations to Year 12 student Rebecca Rusinovic! She has been selected to represent the Victorian Olympic Council at the International Youth Olympic Forum in Estonia in August!
