Jiamei's story The Red Coat has been chosen by NMIT to be included in their anthology which showcases 30 stories from talented writers across Australia. She began writing The Red Coat during Year 8 Writers' Camp in 2013.

NMIT also awarded Sabina Donato (Year 8P) an honourable mention for her story, Ethereal.
