Holly Greenhalgh is the Head of Senior School (Years 7–12) and has held a broad range of leadership and teaching positions at Lowther Hall over the past nine years. Her roles have included Year Level Coordinator for Years 7, 8 and 12; Senior School English and Dance Teacher; Production Choreographer; Head of Faculty: Drama and Dance; Deputy Head of Senior School: Culture and Innovation; and Deputy Head of Senior School: Teaching and Learning.
Before joining Lowther Hall, Holly began her career as an Educator at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, where she developed curriculum and delivered workshops in partnership with other Melbourne Cultural Institutions to schools across Victoria, providing resources and Professional Learning to teachers. Holly honed her practice in pastoral care at Mentone Grammar through the Mentor program and later travelled to the United Kingdom, where she worked as Curriculum Coordinator, teaching Year 7, 8 and GCSE English. Drawn to the inclusive and caring educational philosophy at Lowther Hall, she returned to Melbourne inspired to contribute to a community that values the development of the "whole-person".
Holly holds a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English and History), a Graduate Diploma of Education, and postgraduate qualifications in Music Theatre from the University of Melbourne and the Victorian College of the Arts. She also completed a Certificate in Coaching Leadership through her work with Steplab in 2024. Dedicated to ongoing professional learning, she continues to expand her knowledge through research and further study.
