Tracy Healy

Deputy Principal - Head of Senior School (7-12)
A recognised leader in adolescent health and student wellbeing, Tracy has developed and refined wellbeing programs that support the emotional and social growth of students from Year 7 to Year 12. She holds qualifications in Adolescent Health and Mental Health, and is passionate about nurturing resilience, self-esteem, and confidence in young people.

Tracy Healy has been Deputy Principal, Head of Senior School at Lowther Hall since 2013. With a long-standing connection to the School since 1990, Tracy has previously held a range of leadership and teaching roles including Year Level Coordinator at every Year Level, Head of Grant House and School Counsellor. Her extensive experience across multiple facets of school life gives her a deep understanding of the Lowther Hall landscape and a strong foundation for leading the Senior School with insight, care, and purpose.

Tracy is recognised as an industry leader in adolescent health and student wellbeing, tirelessly developing and refining programs that nurture self-confidence, self-esteem and resiliency in young adults. Under her leadership, each year level from Year 7 to Year 12 at Lowther Hall benefits from a tailored, formally timetabled wellbeing program, delivered in collaboration with Year Level Pastoral Care Coordinators.

Tracy holds an Arts Degree from the University of Melbourne, majoring in History and Criminology as well as post graduate qualifications. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Adolescent Health and Welfare and a Diploma in Mental Health, and has completed study through Harvard University. She continues to enhance her knowledge and practice through ongoing research and professional development. Tracy has presented on student wellbeing at the Global Forum on Girls’ Education in Washington, DC, and contributes to the broader educational conversation around best practice in student care. In 2019, she was selected as one of The Educator's Top 50 Educators.

Tracy is passionate about equipping young people with the emotional intelligence, social awareness and resilience they need to thrive both within and beyond the school environment. She is committed to creating a school culture that supports holistic student development and fosters strong relationships between staff, students and families. In her personal time, Tracy enjoys cooking for her family, especially her husband and her two children.
