The successful applicant should be an excellent classroom practitioner whose teaching is informed by contemporary educational research, especially in the area of English pedagogy. Passionate about their field, they will demonstrate the ability to build a culture of success in and enjoyment of their subject by students and to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. They will also be committed to their own learning and professional development.
This position includes the responsibility for the pastoral care of students and participation in the co-curricular programs. Specifically, assistance with the various School Production and attendance at rehearsals is required.
