The occasion recognised outstanding academic achievement while encouraging current students to reflect on the habits of commitment and curiosity that underpin excellence. We hope our award recipients carry these lifelong skills into their future studies, careers and personal pursuits.
A highlight of the event is hearing from our most recent Lowther Clarke Scholar as well as a Lowther Clarke Scholar who has had some time to make her mark after school. This year we welcomed Old Grammarian and Lowther Clark Scholar Greer Sutherland (Class of 2014) who gave an address. Greer was English Captain during Year 12 and went on to study a Bachelor of Arts and Master or Publishing and Communications at the university of Melbourne. We also heard a reflection from our 2025 Lowther Clark Scholar Genevieve Lee-Chan who was Big Band Captain and Music Co-Captain who will be going on to study Science and Engineering at the University of Melbourne.
We congratulate the Class of 2025 and thank them for the contribution they have made to Lowther Hall. We especially commend those students recognised for their outstanding academic achievements.
