Today we proudly hosted the inaugural ‘Voices of the Valley’ conference at Lowther Hall - an inspiring student-led initiative created and run by our Deputy School Captain and Head of the Student Representative Council, Caitilin.
We welcomed student leaders from Ave Maria College, Mount Alexander College, Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, and St Columba’s College to connect, collaborate and discuss the issues that matter most to young people today. Throughout the day, students worked together to develop proposals for positive change, which they shared with special guest Mayor and Councillor Ava Adams from Moonee Valley City Council, who also spoke about her journey into local government.

Lowther Hall acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which the School is situated, the Wurundjeri, Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands and waterways across the country where members of the School community learn, work and gather, recognising their enduring connections to these lands. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and acknowledge that teaching and learning have been happening on these lands for many generations.
