As each student took to the stage, they embraced the spontaneity, creativity, and sheer joy that make this art form so timeless and compelling.

For many years, the Lowther Hall Jazz Program has provided students with opportunities to "walk the tightrope" of live performance from the cherished Evening of Jazz at the Paris Cat Jazz Club, to this exciting new chapter at the Brunswick Ballroom. Our musicians continued to grow through participation in the Mount Gambier Generations in Jazz festival, as well as through masterclasses, specialised workshops, and countless concerts. These experiences have helped shape them into confident soloists and collaborative performers in ensembles such as the Lowther Hall Big Band, Jazz Vocal Ensemble, Rock Band, and Jazz Band.

We were honoured to welcome back our special guest, jazz legend Mr Bob Sedergreen. For over 14 years, Bob’s mentorship, generosity, and extraordinary talent have left an enduring impact on our students’ musical development, nurturing them as thoughtful and expressive musicians.

Special thanks are extended to Mr Jarrod Butler, Mr Enzo Ruberto, Mr Kit Millais, Ms Katrina Buttigieg and Mr Jackson Vickery for their outstanding dedication in preparing the students for their performances at Jazz at the Ballroom.
