We were honoured recently to gather as a community to celebrate the official opening of The Peter Malcolm Garden, established in honour and loving memory of Mr Peter Malcolm [B Eng], Lowther Hall School Board Member (including Past Chair), from 1993–2023. Peter’s connection to Lowther Hall began in 1981 as a Kindergarten parent. He served the School with great generosity and vision for over 40 years, helping to shape its future with wisdom, warmth and a deep sense of duty.
It was a privilege to hear from Peter’s wife, Carole, at the event and to welcome his family as we reflected on Peter’s extraordinary contribution to Lowther Hall.
Peter truly lived the School motto, non nobis solum – not for ourselves alone. His legacy will continue to grow alongside our students, planting seeds of learning and wonder for generations to come.
