This meaningful ceremony marks the beginning of the students' leadership journey and symbolises their commitment to serving the Junior School.
Each Year 6 student was introduced by their teacher and received a lit candle from the altar candle by Ms Rhodes. The candle symbolises God’s love and presence among them, as well as their individual leadership roles and responsibilities.
After placing their candles, the students were presented with their leadership badge by Mrs Moran. They then formed a circle around the Junior School students and staff, pledging to serve the school community to the best of their ability with God’s guidance.
With pride and excitement, each student pinned her badge onto her blazers as she returned to her classroom at Raymond House, where they will wear it proudly throughout 2026.
