The Concert Series was originally launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These half-hour recitals at 1.00pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week. The VCE Music concert was open to the public and enabled the girls to perform in a beautiful and acoustically rich setting to an appreciative audience.
The concert featured a variety of works for voice, piano, violin and trumpet including music by J S Bach, Liszt, Vivaldi and Bruch.
Congratulations to all girls for their stunning performances and to Ms Yiyun Gu for her fine accompaniment work.
