This tradition involves a symbolic exchange between our Preps, who have just begun their schooling journey and are presented with flower seeds that will grow and bloom, and our Year 12s, who will soon be transitioning to life after Lowther, who receive a yellow rose. Introduced by Principal Elisabeth Rhodes in 2013, it was a full circle moment for many of the current Year 12 girls who participated as Preps!

Lowther Hall acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which the School is situated, the Wurundjeri, Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands and waterways across the country where members of the School community learn, work and gather, recognising their enduring connections to these lands. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and acknowledge that teaching and learning have been happening on these lands for many generations.
