Over four days, the girls visited many significant institutions, including Parliament House, the High Court, the Australian Institute of Sport, Questacon and the National Portrait Gallery. A highlight was meeting Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and hearing from our local MP Joanna Briskey, Member for Maribyrnong. Encounters with such inspiring leaders, alongside rich academic experiences, foster the Qualities of a Lowther Hall Girl: ‘She understands the world and her capacity to shape it’ and ‘She is curious and knows how to learn’, while also building confidence and independence.
