In our current climate, every week brings new challenges and this week we are all adapting to the Premier’s announcement about the compulsory wearing of face coverings. It has been very strange for the small number of individuals on site at Lowther Hall to acclimatise to this new look, but everyone is adjusting admirably and becoming increasingly adept at hygienically donning and doffing masks! You should now have received a circular providing you with more detail about the implications of this new development for Lowther Hall girls and early next week I will be sending further information with details about the Lowther Hall masks that have been manufactured to complement the school uniform.

As well as changes and challenges, this week has also had a number of highlights. For me these have included: the successful trial of our live streaming technology on Tuesday; the online interviews Ms Healy and I have conducted with the 33 Year 11 girls who are running for 2021 Prefect positions; the joy and enthusiasm of our Kindergarten girls who are on site at the moment and the fantastic online fundraising afternoon led by the Senior School House Captains and their teams. I continue to be incredibly impressed by everyone’s capacity to achieve so much while simultaneously dealing with a greatly changed environment.
