Next Wednesday is an exciting day on our School calendar: it will be a very first Non Nobis Solum (not for ourselves alone) Giving Day! For one day only we are asking our entire school community of past and current parents, students, staff and friends to help us raise funds for two new Centenary Scholarships.

Help us give the gift of a Lowther Hall education to others:

The Lowther Hall community has always proven that they have a heart for giving. You demonstrate every day that you have a philanthropic and Non Nobis Solum (not for ourselves alone) spirit! We are seeking your support now on Giving Day, to help us realise our mission to provide students with an education at Lowther Hall, who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

The Centenary Scholarships are envisaged to provide an education at Lowther Hall from Year 7 to Year 12 for 2 students from indigenous or refugee backgrounds. These scholarships are the last piece of the School’s centenary celebrations and the aspect about which I am most passionate as I think they really reflect the values of Lowther Hall and will begin a new path for us as we enter the next phase of our history.

Every donation made will be doubled!

On Giving Day, for one day only, we will have a special website to enable all members of the Lowther Hall community to donate funds to our campaign.

A number of Foundation Members, Old Grammarians, School Council members and members of the Executive Team, myself included, have already committed to match every donation made to our Giving Day campaign! That means any donation you make will automatically be doubled!

What will happen on Giving Day (Wednesday 25 May)?

Please be prepared to visit our special Non Nobis Solum Giving Day website (charidy.com/lowtherhall) on Wednesday 25 May, to help fund our cause.

Can I donate before Giving Day?

Absolutely! The Giving Day website is already live and ready to accept donations! Your (doubled) donation will be listed on the Giving Day website. (Of course, you can make your donation anonymously if you wish.) The Giving Day website is at: charidy.com/lowtherhall.

Donations are tax-deductible

Donations to Giving Day are tax-deductible, as well as personal donations, you may like to consider donating on behalf of your business.

We look forward to your support on Giving Day, and participating in our shared demonstration of the Non Nobis Solum spirit!

Any donation you make, large or small, is incredibly important to the School and this campaign.
